The Nutripure brand

Looking for Nutripure supplements in Paris? Herba Barona, a specialist supplement shop open since 2006, stocks the Nutripure range in its Paris store. It has become one of the most closely followed French brands in sports nutrition and micronutrition, and one customers ask us about before they even walk in.

The Nutripure story begins in 2017, in the Haute-Garonne, near Toulouse. Two brothers started it: Christophe Carrio, a former elite athlete, five-time world champion in artistic karate and a qualified dietician, and his brother Florent Carrio, an engineer. Christophe has said he built the brand after a serious injury ended his sporting career: he wanted products whose composition he could check line by line, and could not find them on the French market. Nutripure came out of that very practical frustration, not a marketing study.

The brand rests on three principles it has repeated from the start: pure raw materials, transparency about what is actually in the tub, and a price that stays within reach. In practice that means short formulas with no artificial sweeteners, no colourings, no GMOs and no needless additives, plus published sourcing for the raw materials. Growth followed: in a few years Nutripure went from a niche name to an established part of French nutrition.

Our Nutripure products in Paris

The Nutripure range splits into two families, and that is the easiest way in when you are new to the brand.

The first is sports nutrition. It includes native whey, drawn straight from fresh milk and cold-filtered rather than recovered as a cheese by-product: the protein stays largely undenatured, which shows in how it digests and how it tastes. Alongside it sit Creapure® creatine monohydrate, the German benchmark for pure creatine, BCAAs, electrolytes for long efforts, and Peptan® collagen, one of the better documented hydrolysed collagens on the market.

The second is everyday micronutrition: Epax® omega 3, fish oils standardised in EPA and DHA and checked for purity, magnesium, vitamins, vitamin D, probiotics. These are the products people take all year round, with no link to training, and they are often where our customers start.

A wellbeing range rounds things off, with plants such as rhodiola and ashwagandha. At Herba Barona in Paris these sit on the shelf next to Dynveo, Novoma and Nutrimuscle, so you can compare doses and forms in person rather than on a product page.

What sets Nutripure apart

Three things, concretely.

Patented raw materials. Nutripure does not simply print “creatine” or “collagen” on a label: it names the supplier and the patent. Creapure® for creatine, Epax® for omega 3, Peptan® for collagen. These are traced ingredients whose chain you can follow back and whose analyses you can find. That is an expensive choice, and it is also what makes a real comparison possible between two products that look identical on paper.

Documentary transparency. Every reference comes with a downloadable traceability certificate and a section of scientific references. The origin of the raw materials — France or the European Union for most of the catalogue — is stated rather than buried. In a market where many brands stay vague on this point, that is a genuine difference.

French manufacturing. The products are made in France, mainly in laboratories around Toulouse, where the company is based. That short distance between head office and production simplifies checks and shortens the chain. For many of our customers in Paris 12e, it matters at least as much as the formula itself.

How to choose your Nutripure product

The simplest approach is to start from what you actually do, not from what sells best.

If you train regularly for strength, the basics come down to two products: a protein and creatine. Native whey covers protein intake around training; Creapure® creatine monohydrate is taken continuously, at a steady dose, with no need for cycling. There is no point stacking more at the start.

If your training is endurance-based, the emphasis shifts to electrolytes during the effort and recovery afterwards. Protein still matters, but it belongs in your meals more than in a shaker.

If your goal has nothing to do with sport, micronutrition is plenty: omega 3, magnesium and vitamin D form a classic, well documented base, with additions depending on your profile. Plenty of people who come into our shop in Paris have no sporting plans at all and leave with those three.

One last marker: two products taken consistently for three months beat six products taken for a fortnight. That holds for Nutripure as for any brand, and it is the advice we give most often on the shop floor.

Buying Nutripure in store in Paris

Buying Nutripure in Paris in person changes two things compared with ordering online. First, you see the product: the tub, the full label, the ingredient list, the date. Second, you can ask a question and get an answer — including when the answer is “this one won’t do anything for you”. We would rather sell a useful product than a full basket.

At Herba Barona, the stock shown online is the stock on the shelf: what the site lists as available is physically in the Paris 12e shop. So you can simply come by, or order and collect.

You will find us at 10 rue Théophile Roussel, Paris 12e — métro Ledru-Rollin (line 8), two minutes on foot, or Bastille (lines 1, 5, 8). Gare de Lyon is under ten minutes away. The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am to 6.30pm.

Frequently asked questions about Nutripure in Paris

Where can I buy Nutripure in Paris?

At Herba Barona, 10 rue Théophile Roussel in the 12th arrondissement, Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 6.30pm. The range is on the shelf, so you can see and compare it before buying.

Is Nutripure a French brand?

Yes. The company was founded in 2017 by Christophe and Florent Carrio and is based in the Haute-Garonne, near Toulouse. Manufacturing takes place in France, mainly in laboratories in the same region.

What is the difference between native whey and standard whey?

Native whey is drawn directly from fresh milk by cold filtration, whereas standard whey is a by-product of cheesemaking. Native whey goes through less heat treatment, which shows in digestibility and in its more neutral taste.

Can several Nutripure products be combined?

Yes — common combinations such as omega 3, magnesium and collagen pose no particular difficulty. The best approach is to talk it through in store: we look at what you already take, to avoid pointless duplication.

Are the product analyses available?

Yes. Nutripure publishes a downloadable traceability certificate for each reference, along with the associated scientific references. It is one of the things the brand was built on.
