Novoma in Paris: the brand formerly known as Nutrivita

We are still regularly asked “do you have any Nutrivita?”. The answer is yes: the brand is now called Novoma, and it has a whole shelf at Herba Barona, in Paris 12th. Here is what has changed, what makes this Toulouse brand special, and the products our customers buy again most. The full range is on our page Novoma in Paris.

From Nutrivita to Novoma: same company, new name

Nutrivita was founded in 2012 in Toulouse. In 2022 the brand was renamed Novoma, with new packaging but the same team and the same guiding line: short formulas, readable doses, and above all the systematic choice of active or chelated forms of nutrients. If you were used to a Nutrivita product, you will find it under the Novoma name, sometimes with a slightly revised formula. Not to be confused with Nutrimuscle, another French brand we also stock.

What “active form” actually means

The same nutrient exists in several forms, which are not absorbed in the same way. Novoma almost always chooses the best-tolerated form, even if it costs more to buy. A few examples we explain at the counter:

• Magnesium bisglycinate rather than oxide: Novoma Magnesium Bisglycinate is one of the best-tolerated on the magnesium shelf.
• Vitamin B12 methylcobalamin, the directly usable form, in 120 capsules.
• Vitamin C Quali®-C, of European origin, in capsules or powder, and a liposomal vitamin C in liquid or capsules for longer-lasting absorption.
• Zinc and iron bisglycinate: zinc and iron in chelated form, to limit the usual digestive discomfort.
• KSM-66® ashwagandha, the most studied extract, in 60 organic capsules.

The capsules are plant-based, with no titanium dioxide or artificial colouring. These are details we check for every brand we stock, and Novoma ticks every box.

The Novoma products we sell most in Paris

Three products stand out at the counter. The Epax® Omega-3 in 120 capsules, highly concentrated in EPA and DHA in triglyceride form, is the omega-3 box that leaves the shelf fastest. The magnesium bisglycinate, already mentioned. And the marine collagen, available in five flavours — caramel, mango, red berries, strawberry-guava and neutral — which makes it the easiest collagen to keep up for three months for those who don’t like the taste of plain collagen. Beauty, energy, sport: the rest of the range

On the beauty side, the Hair Formula (KerPep® keratin and biotin) and hyaluronic acid complement collagen. For cellular energy, Coenzyme Q10 combines CAVAQ10® CoQ10 with vitamins C and E. Athletes will find a 180 g Creapure® creatine powder, the same German raw material as in the other brands on the creatine shelf. And for everyday: multivitamins, vitamin D3, the six-strain synbiotic Probio Formula, and chewable organic acerola.

Novoma or Dynveo?

This is the question we hear most. Both brands are French and transparent, and we keep both permanently in stock. Dynveo goes further in specialised active ingredients (ergothioneine, PEA, honokiol, cycloastragenol…) and large sizes. Novoma is more focused on the essentials, with compound formulas (flavoured collagen, Hair Formula, Probio Formula) and prices that are often a little more accessible.
