Each capsule provides 500 mg of extract standardised to 5% withanolides, the active compounds behind ashwagandha’s benefits. The recommended dose of 2 capsules a day equals 1,000 mg of extract, the dose studied in most clinical trials. A 60-capsule bottle covers a full one-month course. The recommended dose is 2 capsules a day, swallowed with a large glass of water. Timing is flexible depending on the desired effect: morning for vitality and focus, or evening about 30 minutes before bed to support relaxation and sleep. You can also split the dose into 1 capsule morning and 1 evening for a balanced effect throughout the day. Ashwagandha is best taken in courses of 1 to 2 months, followed by a 10-day break before renewing if needed.
