Enzymatic hydrolysis breaks the long collagen chains into short peptides (2,000 to 5,000 Daltons), directly absorbable by the gut without further digestion, giving a bioavailability advantage over bovine collagen thanks to intestinal absorption around 1.5 times faster. It is sourced from sustainable fishing, extracted from wild fish skins (cod, hake), making use of by-products that would otherwise be discarded. Naticol has been used in more than 30 published clinical studies, making it one of the most scientifically documented collagen raw materials available.

Novoma’s formula provides, per daily dose (2 scoops), 10 g of Naticol collagen peptides — the dosage used in most of the clinical studies that have shown meaningful effects on skin, with limited effects reported below 5 g/day — alongside 150 mg of vitamin C (sodium ascorbate), the essential cofactor for the body’s own collagen synthesis; without vitamin C, the body cannot make its own collagen, so combining external peptides with this cofactor supports both sides of the process.
