Myo-inositol is the most abundant of the nine inositol isomers, making up around 95% of total inositol in human tissue. It’s a cyclic polyol, sometimes classed as a B-group pseudo-vitamin, naturally found in citrus fruit, wholegrains, legumes and nuts; the body also makes it from glucose, mainly in the kidneys.

Myo-inositol is a structural component of phosphoinositides, molecules in cell membranes involved in transmitting signals between cells, playing a role in hormonal and nerve signal transduction, glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity, intracellular calcium regulation and cell migration.

Each capsule contains exclusively pure myo-inositol, with no bulking excipients (no magnesium stearate, no silicon dioxide, no maltodextrin) — a genuinely additive-free formula, rare on the market. The myo-inositol is obtained through enzymatic fermentation of corn starch, a gentle biotechnological process yielding high-purity inositol, then purified by crystallisation with no chemical solvents.

The pullulan capsule shell protects the raw material from oxidation and moisture while being fully vegan-compatible, and the flexible 3-5 capsule daily dose (2250-3750 mg) allows the supplementation to be tailored to individual needs, on the advice of a healthcare professional.

Take 3-5 capsules a day with a large glass of water, ideally with meals; intake can be split across the day (morning, midday, evening) according to tolerance and habits. Myo-inositol has a neutral taste and is generally well tolerated, even at the maximum dose of 5 capsules a day. A 150-capsule pack provides 30 days at the maximum dose (5/day) or 50 days at the minimum dose (3/day).
