A precursor of the body’s master antioxidant
N-acetylcysteine is the acetylated, stabilised form of L-cysteine, a semi-essential amino acid. Its main role is to supply the substrate needed to synthesise reduced glutathione (GSH), the most abundant endogenous antioxidant in human cells. Its N-acetylated form gives it better chemical stability and higher bioavailability than free L-cysteine, which is more sensitive to oxidation during digestion.
Recognised areas of use
By supporting glutathione production, NAC is studied for its role in cellular protection against free radicals, respiratory comfort through its mucolytic action, and liver support in detoxification processes. It is also studied for its role in emotional balance and in preserving skin and hair quality. Extra intake becomes relevant when diet falls short, or during periods of fatigue, stress or exposure to environmental pollutants.
A natural biofermentation process
Dynveo’s NAC is obtained by plant-based biofermentation, distinct from conventional chemical synthesis or animal-derived extraction. This process uses only plant and mineral raw materials, resulting in a molecule over 99% pure with no solvent residues or contaminants — guaranteeing full vegan compatibility and complete production traceability.
How to use & precautions
Take 1 to 2 capsules a day with a large glass of water, preferably away from meals — ideally in the morning on an empty stomach or between meals. 600mg suits everyday use; 1,200mg (two capsules) can be considered during higher-demand periods, such as winter or increased exposure to oxidative stress factors.
Does not replace a varied, balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use. Leave at least two hours between NAC and activated charcoal, which can significantly reduce its absorption. Those on medication, particularly anticoagulants or blood pressure medication, need prior medical advice. Store in a dry place away from heat, light and out of reach of young children.
Frequently asked questions
Why choose biofermented NAC?
Plant-based biofermentation guarantees optimal purity, free of chemical residues and animal-derived contaminants, with full traceability and vegan compatibility.
Can I combine NAC with other antioxidants?
Yes — it pairs well with vitamin C, selenium or liposomal glutathione, acting in synergy as a glutathione precursor. Ask a healthcare professional to tailor doses to your needs.
Is Dynveo’s NAC suitable for vegans?
Yes — entirely plant-based: the molecule is biofermented from plant substrates, and the capsule shell is pullulan, a natural plant polymer, with no animal ingredients, excipients or additives.
