D-Mannose is a simple sugar naturally found in cranberry, blueberry and apple, not metabolised by the liver, so it passes directly into the urinary system without affecting blood sugar. It is absorbed in the intestine, filtered by the kidneys, and lines the urinary tract, where unwanted bacteria (notably E. coli) preferentially bind to the D-Mannose rather than the bladder wall — the whole complex is then naturally eliminated during urination. This mechanical action makes D-Mannose a valuable complement to cranberry.

Be-Life, a respected Belgian laboratory, provides 750 mg per capsule — a generous dose reaching effective intake in just 1–2 capsules. The vegetable capsule contains no animal gelatin, suiting vegetarian and vegan diets, and the product is gluten-free, lactose-free and nanoparticle-free, suitable from age 6 and for pregnant women under medical advice.

Take 1 capsule a day in the morning with a meal; during periods of discomfort, the dose can be increased to 2 capsules a day (morning and evening). A course of 1 to 3 months is typical.
