Century-old olive trees of Morocco’s High Atlas
Olivie Plus 30x owes its exceptional character to a unique origin: it is produced from century-old, sometimes millennia-old, olive trees growing wild in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco, between 700 and 1,200 metres of altitude. These ancestral trees endure extreme conditions — intense summer drought, wide day-night temperature swings and arid, stony soil. Under this environmental stress, olive trees develop a natural defence mechanism, producing exceptionally high amounts of polyphenols in their fruit. This is precisely what explains the 30-times-higher polyphenol concentration compared with olive oil grown in milder conditions. The trees are neither irrigated nor chemically treated, and cold extraction takes place within hours of harvest to preserve the full range of active compounds.
Hydroxytyrosol: the most powerful olive polyphenol
Hydroxytyrosol is considered by the scientific community to be one of the most powerful natural antioxidants ever identified. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has officially recognised that olive oil polyphenols, including hydroxytyrosol, contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress, provided a daily intake of 5mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives is reached. Thanks to its exceptional concentration, Olivie Plus 30x makes this threshold easy to reach with just one to two tablespoons a day. Beyond hydroxytyrosol, the oil also contains oleuropein and a full spectrum of phenolic compounds acting in synergy — a richness you can taste, in the oil’s characteristic bitterness and peppery finish.
Why glass bottling matters
The choice of a glass bottle for Olivie Plus 30x is not incidental: glass is a completely inert material that does not react chemically with the oil, unlike plastic, which can release microparticles or endocrine disruptors on contact with fats. Glass also forms a perfect barrier against oxygen and filters UV and visible light — the main factors that degrade phenolic compounds. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place away from any heat source.
How to use & precautions
Take one to two tablespoons (15–30ml) per day, ideally in the morning on an empty stomach for optimal absorption. If the taste feels too intense neat — the oil is naturally bitter and peppery due to its polyphenol richness — use it as a dressing on salads, vegetables, soups or toast. Never heat Olivie Plus 30x: cooking destroys part of the polyphenols and considerably reduces the nutritional value of the product. Always use it cold, as a finishing touch or straight from the spoon. A 250ml bottle provides around 8–16 days of use depending on the dose.

Can Olivie Plus 30x replace my cooking olive oil?
No. It is not intended to replace your everyday cooking olive oil, for both practical and economic reasons. Use it in small quantities (1–2 tablespoons a day) as a nutritional supplement, cold only. Continue using a standard olive oil for cooking.
Why does it taste bitter and peppery?
Bitterness and pepperiness are signs of an olive oil rich in polyphenols — the more concentrated in hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein, the more pronounced these characteristics. It’s a mark of quality, not a flaw.
Can I heat it for cooking?
No, heating is strongly discouraged. Heat degrades the polyphenols, especially hydroxytyrosol, which are the most precious compounds in this oil. Always use it cold.
What is its shelf life?
Thanks to its glass bottling and very high polyphenol content, which has a natural preservative effect, Olivie Plus 30x keeps well. Once opened, consume within 3 months and store away from light and heat.
