Zeolite is a group of microporous volcanic minerals formed millions of years ago. Clinoptilolite, the most studied variety for health applications, has a three-dimensional network of microscopic cavities that gives it selective adsorption and ion-exchange properties: it can bind unwanted substances (heavy metals, ammonium, toxins) while releasing beneficial minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium. Thanks to its natural porosity, a single gram of zeolite has an internal surface area of several hundred square metres.

PMA (Panaceo Micro Activation) is a patented process combining precise mechanical and thermal treatment of natural clinoptilolite, which finely micronises the mineral, optimises its crystalline structure and standardises quality batch to batch — the key difference between Panaceo MED and generic zeolites. “Darm-Repair” (German for “gut repair”) reflects the formula’s focus on supporting the intestinal barrier, a single layer of epithelial cells joined by tight junctions that allows nutrient absorption while keeping out unwanted substances. The PMA-zeolite acts within the gut lumen, binding unwanted substances there to help reduce the load on this barrier.

Capsule shell: HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), a vegetable and vegan-friendly capsule. Classified as a Class IIa medical device under European regulation, which requires clinical evidence of efficacy and safety, strict batch quality control, full traceability and CE marking — a higher regulatory bar than standard food supplements. Free from additives, colourings, preservatives, flavourings, gluten, lactose, sugar and GMOs; 100% vegan. 200 capsules per bottle provide roughly 66 days at the standard dose.

Standard dose: 3 capsules a day with a large glass of water (at least 250ml), ideally 30 minutes before or 2 hours after meals. For an intensive course, up to 6 capsules a day (2 doses of 3) may be used, typically at the start of a course. Drink at least 1.5–2 litres of water daily while taking zeolite. A course of 1–3 months is recommended for gut lining support.

Space intake at least 2 hours apart from any medication, as zeolite may interfere with drug absorption. Keep out of reach of young children. Consult a healthcare professional before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or with a specific health condition. See a doctor if symptoms persist.

What’s the difference between Panaceo MED and Basic Detox?

Panaceo MED Darm-Repair is a Class IIa medical device specifically for gut lining support, backed by clinical studies and strict regulation. Panaceo Basic Detox is a food supplement aimed at general detoxification. Both use PMA technology, but MED Darm-Repair carries a higher level of certification.

Can zeolite be combined with probiotics?

Yes, but space the two apart by at least 2 hours — for example, zeolite on an empty stomach in the morning and probiotics with a meal — to avoid any interaction.

Is this suitable for a seasonal detox course?

Yes, a 4–8 week course is a common approach for spring or autumn, alongside a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables and good hydration.
