Kudzu (Pueraria montana, also called Pueraria lobata) is a vigorous vine native to East Asia. It is the root, rich in isoflavones, that is used. It has been used traditionally in Chinese medicine for over 2,000 years and remains the subject of ongoing research today.

Its characteristic compounds are isoflavones, in particular puerarin and daidzin. Qualidiet’s root is standardised to 10% isoflavones, a high standard for this type of extract.
