Greenwhey in Paris: the whey that has real taste

Many people give up whey for a reason that has nothing to do with nutrition: the taste. Too sweet, too artificial, the feeling of drinking a chemical dessert. It is for these customers that we stock Greenwhey at Herba Barona, in Paris 12th. Three native whey isolates — chocolate, vanilla, blueberry — with a subtle, natural taste that is not too sweet, where you can still taste the whey. The range is on our page Greenwhey in Paris.

An authentic taste, not a candy taste
What we say at the counter, and what our customers confirm: Greenwhey isolates have a natural vanilla or chocolate taste, not too sweet, and above all you can still taste the whey. The flavour accompanies it, it does not mask it. That is exactly the opposite of whey loaded with flavourings and sweeteners, which feels like drinking a fast-food milkshake. If you want flavour but tire of it quickly, this is the range we offer you first.
- Native whey isolate chocolate — cocoa, not sugar.
- Native whey isolate vanilla — a discreet vanilla that blends with everything.
- Native whey isolate blueberry — the most original flavour on the shelf, appreciated by those who have tried every chocolate and vanilla.
Why a native isolate
A “native” whey is extracted directly from milk, not from cheese-dairy whey: the protein is less denatured, which affects both digestibility and taste. An “isolate” pushes the filtration further, for a higher protein content and very little lactose and fat. Greenwhey starts from Alpine farm milk and keeps to a very short ingredient list. To understand the differences between concentrate, isolate and native isolate, our whey isolate shelf explains them in detail.
The strawberry milkshake, for those who want something more indulgent
The Strawberry Protein Milkshake is the roundest product in the range, designed to be enjoyed at breakfast or as an afternoon snack rather than after training. It follows the same logic — a recognisable strawberry taste, not a fluorescent colour — but with a creamier texture. Many parents of teenage athletes choose it for this reason.
And if you want no flavour at all: Nutripure native
Not everyone is looking for flavour. Some people mix their whey into oats, a smoothie or a compote and want a neutral base. In that case, Nutripure Native Whey Isolate, unflavoured and made from milk of French origin, is an excellent alternative. Our guide which whey to choose in Paris compares both approaches with the rest of the shelf. We keep it on the shelf next to the Greenwhey, and the rest of the Nutripure range covers creatine, BCAAs and electrolytes if you want to add to it.
How to prepare it
One scoop in 250 to 300 ml of cold water, in a shaker, and that is all: the chocolate version is enough on its own. With milk, the taste becomes rounder but higher in calories. Greenwhey offers its glass GreenShaker, which keeps no plastic smell or taste — a detail that matters when you drink your whey every day. For hard sessions, the lemon-mint pre-workout is taken before and the whey after: two different uses, with no interaction.
Who it is for
- Those who gave up whey because of the taste: this is the number one reason we recommend it.
- Athletes who want a clean protein, native isolate, short ingredient list.
- People sensitive to lactose: the isolate contains very little. In case of confirmed intolerance, ask your doctor for advice.
- Beginners who want a single whey that is easy to drink, without asking themselves any questions.

Frequently asked questions
Which Greenwhey flavour should I choose to begin with?
Chocolate or vanilla: these are the two most versatile flavours, and the easiest to drink with water. Blueberry suits those who want a change.
Is Greenwhey whey sweet?
It is flavoured but not too sweet: that is precisely what sets it apart. You taste the cocoa or the vanilla, and behind it, the taste of the whey itself.
Greenwhey or Nutripure?
Greenwhey if you want flavour, subtle and natural. Nutripure native if you want a neutral whey for mixing. Both are quality native isolates; the choice depends on use, not on quality.
How long does a 900 g tub last?
At one scoop a day, about a month. At one scoop on training days only, much longer. We help you choose the size in the shop.
