Where an ordinary coffee only delivers caffeine, Chi Coffee combines carefully dosed ingredients for a richer experience. “Chi” refers to the concept of vital energy — reflecting the product’s aim of supporting everyday vitality. The base is certified organic Arabica coffee, gently roasted to preserve its natural aromas, enriched with organic guarana (a natural, slow-release source of caffeine), adaptogenic ginseng, and reishi and maitake mushroom extracts, long used in East Asian traditions. Organic acacia fibre — a soluble prebiotic fibre — feeds beneficial gut bacteria and gives the drink a naturally velvety texture, without needing milk or cream.

Organic Arabica coffee forms the aromatic base, grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, with controlled roasting that preserves aroma while reducing acidity. Organic guarana (Paullinia cupana) is an Amazonian vine whose seeds release caffeine gradually thanks to natural tannins, giving a steadier lift than a regular coffee’s caffeine spike. Ginseng is a traditional adaptogenic root long associated with vitality and resilience to stress. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) and maitake (Grifola frondosa) are mushrooms used for centuries in Eastern traditions and increasingly popular in the West as “functional mushrooms”. Organic acacia fibre is a well-tolerated soluble prebiotic that also lends the coffee its creamy mouthfeel.

Stir 2–3 level teaspoons of powder into a cup of hot (not boiling, ideally 80–90°C) water until fully dissolved. Enjoy plain or with milk, a plant-based drink (oat, almond, soy) or a touch of honey. We recommend 1–3 cups a day, avoiding the evening due to the caffeine content. Try it iced in summer over ice cubes with a plant-based milk.
