A drink rather than capsules
Regul starts from a simple observation: to act on satiety and blood sugar, you need fibre, and a useful amount of fibre doesn’t fit in a capsule. One dose of Regul provides 6 g of patented fibre, which would take ten capsules to match.
Hence the format: a powder to dissolve in a glass of water, 15 to 30 minutes before the main meal. The fibre swells in the stomach, prolongs the feeling of fullness and slows the absorption of carbohydrates from the meal that follows. It’s mechanical, which is why the timing matters just as much as the dose.
Four active ingredients, three patents
Inavea™ (3 g) is a blend of acacia and baobab fibre. These soluble fibres feed the microbiota and create the bulk effect. Carolean® (3 g) combines carob and nopal, two viscous fibres that contribute to satiety.
Feiolix® (600 mg) is an extract of feijoa, a South American fruit, selected for its action on natural satiety signals. Finally, chromium (200 µg, as picolinate) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and normal macronutrient metabolism, two claims recognised at European level.
Who it’s for
SIHO designed Regul for people who snack easily, whose blood sugar varies a lot during the day, or who want to control their appetite better without an aggressive appetite suppressant. It’s aimed at those who already have a reasonably healthy lifestyle, balanced diet and regular activity, and are looking for a helping hand, not a miracle.
In our Paris shop, we also suggest it to people wanting to cut down on fast sugars, alongside stevia for sweetening differently.
How to take it
One dose in a large glass of cold or lukewarm water, to drink 15 to 30 minutes before the main meal. Mix well and drink without delay, as the fibre thickens quickly. The 198 g pouch covers one month at one dose a day.
As with any fibre-rich product, start with half a dose for the first few days if you’re not used to it, and drink enough water throughout the day. For adults only. People on treatment for blood sugar should ask their doctor’s advice before using it.
Fibre, the nutrient we forget
French recommendations put fibre intake at around 25 to 30 g a day. Most of us hover around 17 to 20 g. The gap comes from a diet where white bread, pasta and processed products have replaced legumes, vegetables and whole grains. It’s not a question of willpower, it’s a question of habits.
Soluble fibres, those from acacia, baobab, carob or nopal, have a particular feature: they absorb water and form a gel. Taken before a meal, they take up volume in the stomach and slow the passage of food. That’s what explains the effect on satiety, with no stimulant whatsoever. They also feed the gut microbiota, which ferments them gently.
Regul is a simple way to close part of this gap: 6 g of fibre before the main meal, i.e. a quarter of the recommended intake, in a glass of water. It’s not a reason to eat fewer vegetables, it’s an extra boost.
Regul in SIHO’s Functionals range
SIHO, a French brand packaged in Brittany, launched a family of functional drinks in September 2026: Regul for satiety, Reset for the evening, Reboost for energy and Repulp for skin. The shared idea: pleasant-to-drink powders that people actually stick with, rather than a tub of capsules forgotten in a cupboard.

Frequently asked questions
Where to buy Regul SIHO in Paris?
At Herba Barona, 10 rue Théophile Roussel, Paris 12e, and on this site.
What does Regul taste like?
A mild, slightly fruity taste, thanks to feijoa and carob. The texture thickens as the fibre swells: drink it within two minutes.
One or several doses a day?
SIHO states one dose before the main meal, and up to one dose before each meal if needed. The pouch corresponds to one month at one dose a day.
Is it an appetite suppressant?
No, there’s no stimulant at all. Satiety comes from the fibre filling the stomach, the way a large plate of vegetables would.
Herba Barona’s advice — Take it before the meal where you’re most likely to go back for seconds. For most people, that’s dinner.
Food supplement. Not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children.
