Scientific studies have shown honokiol’s ability to modulate GABA-A receptors, involved in the body’s natural relaxation mechanisms, promoting calm without daytime drowsiness. Its fat solubility also lets it penetrate cell membranes, contributing to the protection of nerve cells against oxidative stress.

Magnolia officinalis bark contains two main lignans: honokiol and magnolol. Most generic extracts offer a low-concentration honokiol-magnolol blend, often 2–5%. Reaching over 90% pure honokiol requires an advanced chromatography purification process that specifically isolates and concentrates this molecule, delivering a significant, reproducible active dose consistent with reference scientific studies.

Take 1 capsule a day with a large glass of water. For sleep support, take 30 minutes before bed; for daytime calm, take in the morning with no risk of drowsiness. During intense stress, up to 2 capsules a day (morning and evening) can be taken. Pairs well with rhodiola, passionflower or Dynveo’s plant-based melatonin for a complete sleep protocol.
