Lemon balm is traditionally recognised for its calming properties, supporting relaxation during temporary stress — documented since Antiquity, when Dioscorides already noted its calming virtues. It is also traditionally used in herbal medicine to support digestive comfort, particularly around stress or heavy meals. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the German Commission E recognise these traditional uses.

Dynveo uses a patented cold-press process, avoiding the chemical solvents of conventional extraction that can denature target molecules, preserving the plant’s full polyphenol profile. The concentration ratio is significant: about 6kg of fresh organic lemon balm leaves are needed to produce 1kg of dry concentrate.

Take 2 capsules a day, split into two doses — one in the morning, one in the evening — with a large glass of water, to spread the calming effect through the day and ease evening sleep onset. Each daily dose provides 600mg organic lemon balm extract (90mg hydroxycinnamic acids, 48mg rosmarinic acid). A 60-capsule bottle covers one month.

Powder is simply dried, ground plant with no concentration of actives; this cold-pressed extract isolates and concentrates hydroxycinnamic acids and rosmarinic acid at a 6:1 ratio, far richer than plain powder.

Can lemon balm be taken with melatonin?

Yes, this combination is commonly used to support sleep onset — lemon balm calms and relaxes, while melatonin helps synchronise the body clock.

How long before I feel the effects?
