Virigo does not rely on a single ingredient but on the synergy of three complementary actives:

Tribulus terrestris (200mg, 45% saponins): a spiny plant used for centuries in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine. Its active compounds, steroidal saponins (mainly protodioscin), are the components most studied in connection with male tone and energy. The Distriform’ extract is standardised to 45% saponins — a high standardisation guaranteeing a meaningful dose of active compounds. As with other traditional adaptogenic plants linked to hormonal balance, its long-standing traditional use should be understood as such rather than as a guaranteed clinical outcome.

L-arginine HCl (150mg): a semi-essential amino acid and direct precursor of nitric oxide (NO), a vasodilating molecule that plays a key role in blood circulation, relaxing the smooth muscle of blood vessels and supporting optimal blood flow.

Zinc gluconate (10mg): zinc is an essential trace element involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions. EFSA has approved a specific health claim for zinc: it contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood. Zinc also contributes to normal fertility and reproduction, and to the maintenance of normal hair, skin and nails.

Tribulus terrestris, known as Gokshura in Sanskrit, is one of the oldest plants in the Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia associated with male vitality, traditionally classed among the vrishya (invigorating plants). It has been used for millennia across India, China and the Balkans — notably in Bulgaria, where it was studied from the 1980s for its potential relevance to athletic performance, which helped bring it into international sports and men’s supplements. Its steroidal saponins, particularly protodioscin, are structurally related to DHEA, a natural steroid hormone, and the plant is generally classed among adaptogens — traditionally used to help the body cope with physical and mental stress. As with any traditional-use botanical linked to hormonal pathways, these uses reflect historical practice rather than an established medical claim.

For a complete approach to vitality, Virigo pairs well with: Ashwagandha KSM-66, an adaptogen traditionally used to help manage stress; Mucuna, a natural source of L-DOPA, a dopamine precursor; magnesium bisglycinate, a cofactor for energy metabolism, often lacking in active men; vitamin D3, a hormone precursor; and omega-3 essential fatty acids. A good night’s sleep and regular resistance exercise also support the body’s natural balance.

Take 2 capsules per day — 1 in the morning, 1 in the evening, with meals. 60 capsules = 1 month’s course. A course of 1–2 months, repeatable, is recommended; the effects of Tribulus and zinc build progressively over 2–4 weeks.

Yes. Tribulus and L-arginine are commonly used by athletes. Virigo contains no substance listed as prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
