PEA’s main challenge is poor solubility in the digestive tract’s watery environment. OptiPEA’s micronisation and lipid micro-encapsulation overcome this: each capsule delivers finely ground PEA coated in a matrix of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) and sunflower lecithin standardised in phosphatidylcholine, aiding dispersion and absorption regardless of meal content.

During the loading phase, take 3 capsules a day (1,200mg PEA) for around six weeks. Afterwards, dosing can typically be reduced to 1–2 capsules a day for maintenance, based on individual needs and professional advice. Capsules can be taken with or without food, with a glass of water.
