Creatine without a scoop or a shaker
This version of Nutripure creatine is for those who want an accurate dose without measuring anything. The white jar contains 150 plant-based capsules; five capsules make up the daily dose, i.e. 3,400 mg of Creapure® creatine monohydrate, providing 3,000 mg of creatine. The jar therefore lasts exactly one month.
The capsules have no taste, need neither a shaker nor any particular drink, and slip easily into a gym bag, a suitcase or a desk drawer. It is the format often chosen by people who train early in the morning, between two appointments or when travelling.
The creatine itself is identical to that of the powder version: the same raw material, the same daily dose. Only the presentation changes, with the few ingredients needed for the capsule.
What each capsule contains
The label is short. It lists Creapure® creatine monohydrate, of German origin, the plant-based capsule shell made of pullulan, a little maltodextrin and a trace of sunflower oil (0.6%), which help fill the capsules evenly. There is no sweetener, no flavouring and no colouring.
Each capsule contains about 680 mg of creatine monohydrate. The pullulan capsule, obtained by fermentation, contains no animal gelatine: the product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
The full details, with the composition per daily dose and the warnings, are given in the composition tab of this page.
Creapure®: controlled purity and anti-doping standard
Creapure® is a creatine monohydrate produced in Germany, at a dedicated site that applies food and pharmaceutical industry standards. Batches are analysed to check their purity and the absence of unwanted synthesis by-products. The raw material is kosher and halal certified.
The finished product complies with the European EN 17444 standard, which governs the manufacture of supplements for athletes to prevent the presence of prohibited substances. Nutripure packs its capsules in France and publishes a traceability sheet specific to this version.
For a product that contains only one active ingredient, the raw material is everything. That is what convinced us to offer this creatine in our shop in Paris 12th.
The authorised claim for creatine
Creatine is produced by the body and supplied by food, mainly meat and fish. Most of our stores are in the muscles. As a food supplement, it is one of the most studied ingredients in the field of sport.
The European Union authorises one health claim for it, whose official wording is: Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine.
The five daily capsules recommended by Nutripure provide exactly these 3 g of creatine. The claim refers to intense, repeated efforts, such as weight-training sets or sprints; we do not make any other.
How to take the capsules
Nutripure recommends 5 capsules a day with a glass of water. You can take them all at once or spread them out, for example two in the morning and three in the evening: the brand even recommends splitting the intake over the day. The time matters little, as long as you take them daily, including rest days.
The recommended course lasts 3 months, i.e. three jars, possibly followed by a 1- to 2-month break. People who train four times a week or more can take it all year round. While taking it, drink at least 1.5 L of water a day.
After a session, the capsules go just as well with a post-workout drink such as Nutripure Pure Recovery or with a Nutripure Muscle Protein shake. For adults only; if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a health condition, ask a healthcare professional for advice.
Capsules or powder, and other creatines
At an equal dose, the powder costs less and mixes into any drink; the capsules are more practical. If you prefer to mix your creatine into your water or your shaker, the powder version of Nutripure creatine contains the same Creapure®, in a 150 g pouch.
We also offer other brands, in powder, capsules or micronised form: you will find them on the shop’s creatine page. For other single-ingredient sports products, Nutripure L-Citrulline follows the same logic of one active ingredient per tub.

Herba Barona’s tip — keep the jar next to your water bottle or in your gym bag: with creatine, it is forgetting that breaks the routine, not the time you take it. Five capsules at once or spread between morning and evening, both work.
