Native isolate from fresh milk: 95% protein via cold ultrafiltration

Unlike classic whey derived from a cheese-making by-product, native whey isolate is extracted directly from fresh milk through cold ultrafiltration. This gentle process preserves the integrity of the proteins, amino acids and naturally bioactive components such as immunoglobulins and lactoferrin. Flash pasteurisation at 70°C ensures microbiological safety while keeping the proteins’ three-dimensional structure and full biological function intact. The milk comes from selected European farms with rigorous farm-to-product traceability, and the cattle graze on controlled pastures, ensuring high-quality milk free from unwanted residues. No excipients, additives, GMOs or nanoparticles are used — the result is a 100% pure powder made solely of cow’s milk protein isolate, with no filler or artificial flavouring.

A complete amino-acid profile with natural BCAAs

This native whey’s amino-acid profile is among the most complete available, with a broad spread of amino acids and a strong presence of essential amino acids the body cannot make on its own. Leucine, at 11.8 g per 100 g, plays a determining role in activating the mTOR pathway, the central mechanism of muscle protein synthesis. Isoleucine (5.5 g) and valine (5.1 g) complete the BCAA trio for a total of 22.4 g, supporting recovery and lean mass preservation, while significant glutamine (17.3 g), aspartic acid (11.2 g) and lysine (10 g) content adds further nutritional value for athletes and active people.

Native whey vs classic whey: the key differences

The distinction between native and classic whey is not just marketing. Conventional whey comes from whey liquid, a by-product of cheese-making, subjected to intense heat treatments that denature part of the protein. Native whey, extracted directly from milk, retains all of its bioactive components, immunoglobulins and lactoferrin included. Nutritionally, native whey isolate has a 95% protein content versus around 80% for a classic whey concentrate, with a minimal lactose level that makes it accessible to people sensitive to this milk sugar. The absence of GMP (glycomacropeptides), typical residues of the cheese-making process, also contributes to better digestive tolerance and more efficient nutrient assimilation.

Who this native whey isolate is for

This supplement suits a wide range of people. Strength trainers and fitness enthusiasts find it a high-performing tool for supporting lean mass gain and speeding up post-workout recovery. Endurance athletes benefit from its complete amino-acid profile to help maintain muscle mass during prolonged effort. Older adults wanting to preserve muscle mass against age-related sarcopenia are also a relevant audience, while people managing their weight appreciate its low carbohydrate and fat content, allowing a higher protein intake without excess calories. Its neutral taste makes it easy to add to shakers, smoothies or protein recipes.

How to use & when to take it

Post-workout, a serving diluted in water or plant milk within 30 to 60 minutes of exercise helps trigger protein synthesis quickly via the resulting plasma amino-acid peak. At breakfast, it offsets overnight catabolism and provides energy to start the day; as a between-meal snack, it helps keep protein intake steady throughout the day. The powder mixes easily into a shaker, a bowl of porridge or a smoothie, and its neutral taste allows you to add fruit, cocoa or spices to suit your preference.

Not recommended for people with a proven allergy to cow’s milk protein. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between native whey isolate and whey concentrate?

Native whey isolate is extracted directly from fresh milk via cold ultrafiltration, while whey concentrate comes from a cheese-making by-product. This difference in origin translates into a higher protein content (95% vs around 80%), better preservation of bioactive components, and markedly improved digestive tolerance thanks to the near-absence of lactose.

Is native whey isolate suitable for people sensitive to lactose?

Cold ultrafiltration removes almost all of the lactose present in the original milk. The residual level is extremely low (around 1.8 g per 100 g), making this product generally well tolerated by people sensitive to lactose. However, it remains unsuitable for people with a proven allergy to cow’s milk protein.

How much protein is in a serving of native whey isolate?

With 95% protein per 100 g of powder, each 30 g serving provides around 28.5 g of pure protein, alongside 6.7 g of BCAAs and a full spectrum of essential amino acids — a significant contribution to daily protein needs in a single serving.

How do I fit native whey isolate into my diet?

It is mainly used as a post-workout shake to support muscle recovery, but also works well at breakfast to break the overnight fast or as a snack to maintain steady protein intake. Its neutral taste allows it to be added to protein recipes, pancakes or smoothies as you prefer.
