Eau de Menton takes its name from the famous Riviera town of Menton, on the French-Italian border, world-renowned for its Lemon Festival, its exceptional botanical gardens, and its citrus groves thriving thanks to a microclimate unique in France. Since the 19th century, Menton has been a centre for growing lemons, citrons, bergamots and oranges.

Limonene, naturally present in citrus zest (especially lemon and orange), gives the first bright, sparkling impression. Linalool adds a soft, lightly woody floral note found naturally in lavender and rosewood. Citral reinforces the citrus character with a lemongrass-verbena facet. Geraniol brings rose and geranium notes that soften the blend. Hydroxycitronellal offers a clean, fresh lily-of-the-valley touch. Coumarin adds a warm, lightly sweet base note reminiscent of freshly cut hay, and citronellol rounds out the pyramid with floral-citrus notes. Top notes: Menton lemon, bergamot, bitter orange — bright and energising. Heart notes: white flowers, lily of the valley, geranium, petitgrain — softer and more floral. Base notes: coumarin, light woody notes, white musk — discreet and clean, leaving a pleasant trail without ever being overpowering.

Pour the contents into a reusable spray bottle of your choice. Spray on pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears, inside of elbows — or lightly on clothing to extend the fragrance’s staying power. For best results, apply just after showering on slightly damp skin, and moisturise beforehand, as dry skin absorbs and disperses fragrance faster. Avoid rubbing wrists together after application, as this breaks down the scent molecules. Store away from direct light and heat sources.

External use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly with clean water if accidental contact occurs. Do not apply to irritated or broken skin. As with any eau de toilette, avoid prolonged sun exposure immediately after applying to skin.
