Altostress combines four complementary actives known for their role in nervous comfort. Magnesium bisglycinate provides 56 mg of elemental magnesium per capsule in a particularly bioavailable, digestively well-tolerated form. St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum), traditionally used to support mood, is included as a standardised dry extract (200 mg). L-taurine (200 mg) completes the formula, and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) contributes to normal function of the nervous system.

Magnesium is one of the minerals most called upon during periods of stress. In bisglycinate form, it is bound to two glycine molecules, improving assimilation while reducing the digestive discomfort often reported with other forms. The 56 mg dose per capsule contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal function of the nervous system, and to normal psychological function — a particularly suitable choice for sensitive individuals.

St. John’s Wort is a plant traditionally used to accompany passing low mood and support emotional balance. The standardised dry extract guarantees a consistent level of active compounds from batch to batch.

Important: St. John’s Wort can interact with certain medicines, notably oral contraceptives, some antidepressants and anticoagulants. Always seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any medication.

L-taurine is a sulphur-containing amino acid naturally present in the body, involved in several nervous-system functions. Combined with vitamin B6 (pyridoxine, 1.2 mg per capsule), it rounds out the formula to support normal neurotransmitter metabolism. Vitamin B6 also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal function of the nervous system — a balance that makes Altostress suited to intense periods when a gentle form of support is needed.

Take 1 to 2 capsules per day with meals, during the day, swallowed with a large glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, or people taking antidepressants, oral contraceptives or anticoagulants (due to the St. John’s Wort content). Keep out of reach of young children.

How long should an Altostress course last?

Courses are generally suggested for 4 to 6 weeks, renewable if needed after a break. Duration depends on context (a demanding period, exams, seasonal change).

Can Altostress be combined with another supplement?

Given the St. John’s Wort content, combining it isn’t trivial — avoid other supplements containing St. John’s Wort or psychoactive plants without professional advice. Pairing with gentle herbal teas (chamomile, lemon balm) is generally not a problem.
