Ascophyllum nodosum is a brown algae from cold northern seas, harvested in the wild around Scotland’s Hebrides — a remote marine environment offering ideal conditions for a mineral-dense, pure algae. It’s one of the most concentrated natural iodine sources among seaweeds. Harvesting follows a certified sustainable, organic protocol; the algae is processed with no aggressive heat treatment, preserving natural iodine and other minerals (iron, calcium, magnesium). Iodine’s best-documented role concerns thyroid function. Take 1 capsule a day with a glass of water, preferably with a meal — this single dose covers the full daily iodine requirement recommended by European health authorities (150µg/day for adults). A 60-capsule bottle covers two months. A minimum 3-month course is recommended for lasting support of thyroid function and energy metabolism.
