Olive leaves naturally contain oleuropein, a polyphenol of the secoiridoid family, responsible for most of the properties attributed to this plant. The extract used in OLIFORCE-30 is obtained from selected olive leaves rich in actives, using an extraction process that preserves the integrity of the polyphenols and reaches a titration of 30% oleuropein and 10% pentacyclic triterpenes — complementary compounds that contribute to the extract’s overall properties.

With 150mg of oleuropein per dose, OLIFORCE-30 offers a concentrated intake of this major polyphenol. Oleuropein is recognised for its antioxidant properties, making it a valuable ally against cellular oxidative stress, and it also contributes to the maintenance of healthy cardiovascular function.

The pentacyclic triterpenes present in the olive extract complement oleuropein’s action. These natural compounds, particularly oleanolic acid and maslinic acid, are studied for their beneficial properties on cellular metabolism, and their presence at 10% reinforces the overall quality of the formula. The capsule is entirely vegetable, suiting vegetarians, with excipients limited to the strict minimum — magnesium salts of fatty acids as an anti-caking agent — and no unnecessary additives, artificial colourings or preservatives.

Olive leaf extract, and oleuropein in particular, is associated with several areas of wellbeing: a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from free-radical damage and oxidative stress, a phenomenon involved in cellular ageing; cardiovascular support, contributing to the maintenance of healthy cardiovascular function and helping maintain normal blood pressure as part of a healthy lifestyle; support for the body’s natural defences; and, according to some research, a contribution to maintaining normal blood sugar levels. Take 1 to 2 capsules a day, preferably with a meal, with a large glass of water — taking it with food supports polyphenol absorption. A course of 1 to 3 months is generally recommended, renewable as needed. With 120 capsules per box, one box lasts 4 months at 1 capsule a day, or 2 months at 2 capsules a day.

What is the difference between olive oil and olive leaf extract?

Olive oil is extracted from the fruit and contains mainly monounsaturated fatty acids along with a variable amount of polyphenols. Olive leaf extract, like OLIFORCE-30, comes from the tree’s leaves and contains a much higher oleuropein concentration — one OLIFORCE-30 capsule provides as much oleuropein as several litres of extra-virgin olive oil.

Is olive leaf extract suitable for vegetarians?
