DHA and EPA are the two main long-chain omega-3s. DHA is mainly a structural component of cell membranes, especially important for the brain and eyes, while EPA is more involved in eicosanoid production. What is the difference between fish-oil DHA and algae DHA?

They are chemically identical — fish obtain their DHA from the same microalgae in the marine food chain. Algae-derived DHA offers a vegan, fish-allergen-free alternative; ask our team for options.
