Choosing the Right Nutrimuscle Products in a Paris Shop

“I know Nutrimuscle by name, but where do I start?” That’s the question we hear most often in front of the shelf. The brand is mostly known among athletes, even though a good share of what it sells is for everyday use: omega 3, magnesium, collagen. This guide follows the way we guide you at the counter, from your first jar to the most common combinations. All the products on our shelf are gathered on our Nutrimuscle in Paris page.

What sets Nutrimuscle apart on the shelf
Nutrimuscle is a French brand of sports nutrition and everyday supplements. Its key feature lies in one habit: it names its raw materials. On the label, you don’t just read “citrulline” or “omega 3”, but BioKyowa®, Epax®, Peptan®, CarnoSyn® or Opticreatine®. These are identified suppliers, whose origin can be traced.
The second feature is that the formulas are short. The citrulline powder contains 100% L-citrulline, with no flavouring or excipient; the glycine powder, 100% crystallised glycine. When there are several ingredients, as in combined collagens, each one is listed by dose. This is what makes the brand easy to recommend: you know exactly what’s in the jar.
Start from your need, not the catalogue
The Nutrimuscle catalogue is wide. In the shop, we never start from the list of products but from a simple question: what are you looking to cover? Four main families come up again and again.
- Everyday basics: omega 3, magnesium. For everyone, athlete or not.
- Training: creatine, citrulline, beta-alanine, BCAAs.
- Protein: to supplement your diet when meals aren’t enough.
- Collagen and glycine: neutral powders that fit easily into a morning or evening routine.
One well-chosen product is worth more than five picked at random. You can add more later, if it’s useful.
Everyday basics: omega 3 and magnesium
The Nutrimuscle Epax® omega 3 is our most requested product from the brand. Four capsules provide 4,000 mg of wild fish oil, including 1,520 mg of EPA and 760 mg of DHA. EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function, an effect obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg. A detail that matters: in the shop, we keep them refrigerated from the moment they arrive until they’re sold. To compare with other brands, see our omega 3 shelf.
For magnesium, the magnesium citrate capsules provide 200 mg of elemental magnesium per 5 capsules, in a vegan formula. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness. Always check the figure for elemental magnesium, not the weight of the salt: it’s the only one that lets you compare two products.
For training: creatine and citrulline
If you’re just starting out, the Opticreatine® micronised creatine, 90 g is the right size to try: at 3 g a day, the jar covers a month. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise, an effect obtained with 3 g per day. Our article on creatine, powder or capsules covers the other options.
The BioKyowa® L-citrulline powder is the other pillar of the sports shelf. The stated dose is 3 g, and the powder contains nothing but fermentation-derived citrulline, made in Japan. It dissolves well in water and has a fairly pleasant taste.
Protein, collagen and glycine: read the label carefully
The chocolate egg protein is an alternative to whey for those who avoid milk proteins: a 30 g serving provides 23.1 g of protein for 0.17 g of sugars. Protein contributes to an increase in muscle mass.
For collagen, there are two choices. The Peptan® type 1 collagen is a single-ingredient product: 10 g of bovine collagen peptides per dose, nothing else. The Collagen Mix combines Peptan® type I, Colartix® type II and chondroitin. If you want the simplest option, choose the first; if you’re after a more complete formula, choose the second.
Finally, the crystallised glycine powder: 6 g per dose, 100% glycine, with a slightly sweet taste. The 360 g jar lasts about two months.
Powder or capsules, small or large size
Powder costs less per gram and lets you adjust the dose; capsules slip easily into a bag. For products taken in several grams a day (collagen, glycine, creatine), powder is almost always more practical. For a first try, choose the small size: you’ll see if you remember to take it every day before investing in a large jar. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, and people on medication, should ask their doctor or pharmacist for advice first.
Frequently asked questions
Is Nutrimuscle only for athletes?
No. The name evokes weight training, but omega 3, magnesium and collagen are suitable for everyone. A good share of our Nutrimuscle customers don’t go to any gym.
Which Nutrimuscle product should I start with?
It depends on your goal. Without a sporting goal, Epax® omega 3 is often the first purchase. For training, the 90 g creatine is a good starting point.
Can several Nutrimuscle products be combined?
Yes, as long as you don’t double up on intakes. We check with you what you’re already taking, including other brands, to avoid the same nutrient appearing in two products. Our amino acids shelf also lets you compare with other manufacturers.
Can I order online and collect in Paris?
Yes. You order on the website and collect your order in the shop, at 10 rue Théophile Roussel, Paris 12th, Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6:30pm. We also deliver all over France.
The simplest option is still to come in with your questions: we open the jars, read the labels with you, and you leave with what suits you.
