Nutrimuscle Egg Protein Powder in Paris: egg white, chocolate flavour
Nutrimuscle’s Egg Protein is an egg white protein from free-range hens, with organic low-fat cocoa. A 30 g serving provides 23.1 g of protein for 0.17 g of sugars, and the 1 kg tub makes 33 servings. Available in Paris at Herba Barona.
An egg white protein with a chocolate taste
Nutrimuscle’s Egg Protein starts from an ingredient everyone knows: egg white. It makes up 93% of the powder. The whites come from eggs laid by free-range hens; they are pasteurised, then dehydrated into powder. The rest of the recipe is for taste and texture: 5% organic low-fat cocoa, 1% flavourings, inulin, a ferment and sucralose as a sweetener.
The result is a protein-rich powder: 23.1 g for a 30 g serving, or 77 g per 100 g. Proteins contribute to a growth in muscle mass and to its maintenance. They also contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
Organic Fairtrade cocoa, chosen for its mildness
The chocolate does not come from a simple flavouring. Nutrimuscle uses organic Fairtrade-certified low-fat cocoa, containing 10 to 12% fat, selected for its low cadmium content (0.6 mg/kg at most). This cocoa is alkalised, a process that gives it a milder, less bitter taste.
The drink is therefore chocolatey without being sweet: a 30 g serving contains only 0.17 g of sugars. The sweetness comes from sucralose. If you want a rounder texture, prepare it with milk rather than water.
30 g in 250 ml: preparing it in a shaker
The serving recommended by Nutrimuscle is 30 g per day. Pour 250 ml of water or milk into a shaker, add the powder, close it and shake for a few seconds. The 1 kg tub gives 33 servings.
A Dynveo sports shaker does the job very well if you do not have one yet. Always put the liquid in first, then the powder: it mixes better and does not stick to the bottom.
One serving a day is enough in most cases. When to take it depends on your routine: at breakfast, after a workout or as a snack. The key is to stay within the recommended serving.
Egg or whey: which to choose in Paris?
Whey comes from milk, Egg Protein comes from egg. That is the big difference, and often the reason for the choice: customers who prefer to limit milk proteins turn to egg white. Please note, however, that this chocolate version contains a ferment that includes milk: it is not suitable in case of milk allergy.
If you are hesitating, our whey in Paris and proteins ranges bring together all the powders we have in store, for example the Nutripure chocolate whey isolate. For an option without animal products, see our plant protein powders. We are happy to compare labels with you in our shop in Paris 12th arrondissement.
What a serving really contains
For 30 g of powder, the label shows 112 kcal, 0.17 g of fat, 1.76 g of carbohydrates of which 0.17 g of sugars, 23.1 g of protein and less than 0.01 g of salt. The powder is therefore almost entirely made of protein.
The added ferment is Bacillus coagulans GBI-30 6086, at 2.6 x 10^8 CFU per serving. Inulin is a plant fibre. The full detail, with values per 100 g, is in the Composition tab of this page.
Nutrimuscle, a French sports nutrition brand
Nutrimuscle belongs to the NLab group, a French company founded in 1993. The brand is known to athletes for its short ingredient lists and for the transparency of its labels. This tub carries the blue “Nm nutrimuscle” logo and the Chocolate mention.
We have several of the brand’s products on the shelf, including the Nutrimuscle micronised creatine, often taken alongside a protein powder. The whole range is on our Nutrimuscle in Paris page.
Allergens, precautions and storage
This powder contains egg and milk. It is not suitable for people allergic to either. Do not exceed the recommended serving and keep the tub out of reach of young children. A protein powder complements a varied and balanced diet, it does not replace it.
Close the tub tightly after each use and store it in a dry place, away from heat. Would you rather see the tub before buying it? Drop by our shop in Paris.
