The Distriform’ black garlic extract is standardised to 0.1% S-allyl cysteine (SAC), providing 0.25 mg of SAC per capsule. Black garlic results from a long fermentation of fresh garlic under controlled heat and humidity over several weeks, which transforms its sulphur compounds into more stable, better-tolerated and completely odourless molecules.
