Magnesium citrate powder in Paris: 90 g by Nutrimuscle
Nutrimuscle magnesium citrate powder lets you dose freely, spoon by spoon, with no capsules to swallow. A 2.5 g serving provides 338 mg of magnesium; the 90 g pouch is available at our shop in Paris.
Why citrate?
Not all magnesium salts are equal. Old, cheap forms such as oxide show plenty of magnesium on the label but are poorly absorbed and known for their laxative effect. Citrate is one of the organic forms, which are better tolerated.
It is a good compromise between magnesium content, price and digestive comfort, which is why we often suggest it as a first choice to people who have never taken magnesium.
Powder: dose it your way
That is the main advantage. With capsules the dose is fixed; with powder you adjust it spoon by spoon to the period, your activity or your own tolerance. You can start low and build up gradually — exactly the right approach with magnesium.
Powder is also cheaper per gram and spares you several capsules a day. If you prefer capsules, we also stock magnesium citrate capsules.
2.5 g a day, 36 servings
Nutrimuscle recommends 2.5 g a day dissolved in 250 ml of water with a meal. That serving provides 2162 mg of citrate and 338 mg of magnesium, so the 90 g pouch lasts 36 days.
The dose can be split into two intakes, which is more comfortable. Check whether your multivitamin already contains magnesium: the amounts add up.
Taste and ingredients
Magnesium citrate tastes distinctly tart. In a large glass of water, a fruit juice or lemon water that is no problem. The ingredient list is minimal: magnesium citrate only, with no excipients, flavouring or sweetener.
The product is made in France. Store dry and tightly closed.

Frequently asked questions
What does the powder taste like?
Distinctly tart. Dissolved in a large glass of water, juice or lemon water, it is easy to drink.
How long does the pouch last?
36 days at the recommended serving of 2.5 g a day.
Morning or evening?
Either works. Many people prefer the evening; consistency and splitting the dose matter more.
Can it upset the stomach?
Too much magnesium, in any form, shows first in the gut. That is why you start low and increase slowly — which is exactly what the powder allows.
