Buy Native Whey Isolate: premium protein from fresh French milk
Novoma’s Native Whey Isolate is a premium whey protein made directly from fresh French milk rather than cheese-making whey, cold microfiltered to preserve delicate protein fractions. Available at our Paris shop, with Click & Collect and delivery across France and Europe.
Native whey vs classic whey
Most whey on the market is cheese whey, a liquid by-product of cheese-making that undergoes heat treatment (milk pasteurisation, curd heating) and pH changes (rennet or acid addition) before being turned into protein powder — processes that can denature some sensitive protein fractions.
Native whey, by contrast, is extracted directly from fresh skimmed milk by microfiltration: the milk is never turned into cheese, never acid-treated, and processing temperatures stay low throughout, better preserving the protein’s three-dimensional structure for a potentially more intact amino acid profile and better digestibility. In practice, native whey is also more soluble and has a more neutral taste than cheese whey, which can carry a slight residual bitterness.
Isolate vs concentrate, and how to use it
Whey concentrate (WPC) typically contains 70-80% protein, with residual lactose, fat and minerals — the most common, most affordable form. Whey isolate (WPI) goes through an extra filtration step for a purer result, typically 85-95% protein with very low lactose and fat. Novoma’s native whey isolate combines both advantages: the purity of an isolate and the quality of native raw milk, for a protein that is both very high in pure protein and very low in lactose and fat, with optimally preserved protein fractions.
Mix 25-30 g (about one scoop) into 200-250 ml of water, milk or a plant-based drink and shake for 10-15 seconds; thanks to cold microfiltration, the powder dissolves quickly with no clumping. Its neutral taste also makes it ideal for protein cooking — pancakes, smoothie bowls, soups, mash or omelettes — added at the end of cooking to avoid altering the flavour. Best taken at breakfast, as an afternoon snack, or within 30 minutes after training to support muscle recovery.
Origin & quality commitments
The milk used comes from French farms committed to animal welfare, with seasonal pasture access; Novoma, a French brand based in Paris, commits to full traceability of its raw materials, with batch-by-batch quality control of the milk used. Cold microfiltration takes place in certified facilities following good manufacturing practice, and final packaging is done in France.

Frequently asked questions
Why choose a native whey isolate over a concentrate?
The choice depends mainly on your goals and digestive sensitivity — isolate offers a higher protein concentration, near-zero lactose and often better digestibility, making it the more relevant choice for people sensitive to lactose or seeking maximum protein with minimal calories; Novoma’s native version also guarantees the protein hasn’t been altered by cheese-making processes, an added quality benefit.
Is native whey isolate suitable for people with lactose intolerance?
Whey isolate contains a much-reduced amount of lactose compared with concentrate, thanks to the extra purification step, and many people with lactose sensitivity tolerate it well; however, in cases of severe intolerance, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional before consuming this product, which contains milk protein.
How many servings does the 900g pack contain?
At 25-30 g per serving, the 900 g pack provides around 30-36 servings, roughly a month’s supply at one serving a day — ideal for trying the product or for regular use without excess bulk.
